Rod Neier, CEO & CFO , has been involved with the Company since it was founded by his father, Ben Neier, in 1984. He joined Roto-Mix on a full-time basis in February 1993 and initially served as Vice President and CFO until September 1998 when he was named President. In addition to operational duties, he was actively involved in the expansion of the Company’s export activities. He served as President until May 2011 when his successor was appointed and he moved into the CEO/CFO role.

Prior to joining Roto-Mix on a full-time basis, Mr. Neier was in public practice as a Certified Public Accountant in Kansas and Texas with a focus on agricultural, manufacturing and banking clients. Rod received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from Fort Hays State University.

Rod lives with his wife, Karen, and step-daughter, Amanda, in Chandler, Arizona. They also have two grown sons, Michael Stefan and Tyler Neier. He enjoys and collects motorcycles and automobiles as well as traveling and sports.

Kelly started working at Roto-Mix in 1991 in the engineering department.  In 1993 he moved to Hoisington and was involved with renovating the building Roto-Mix acquired.  He eventually became the Plant Manager of that location.  Kelly moved back to Dodge City in early 2001 and since then has been in a few different roles within the company.  Around 2005 Kelly added export activities and sales to his list of responsibilities.  In December of 2015 Kelly was promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. In 2019 Kelly assumed the role of President & COO

His primary functions include overseeing production of both manufacturing facilities, scheduling new orders for production, “special” quotes, technical assistance, export sales and activities, lean manufacturing integration, and serves as a direct contact for the sales reps and dealers.

Kelly lives in Dodge City with his wife, Joni, and son, Alec.  They enjoy watching Alec’s sporting events, spending time at the families lake house in Council Grove KS and weekends at their place in Waynoka OK riding the sand dunes.

Kevin Zahrt, Director of Wholesale Operations, Marketing, Field Quality and Training.

Responsible to lead and manage the wholesale sales team to develop a strong dealer network, assure proper product lines to provide value to our dealers and customers, ensure the Roto-Mix Brand has appropriate presence at trade shows and the agricultural marketplace to promote and drive sales through the indirect channel. Primary focus will be in the dairy sector.

Previous experience in sales management, marketing, customer service and procurement.

Jim Bell, Director of Manufacturing Operations, started his career at Roto-Mix in September 1993. He trained at the Dodge City headquarters for six weeks while the Hoisington plant was being established. Jim completed weld training and returned to help with the plant preparation in Hoisington. Jim was a production welder for 4 years before he took the position of Weld Shop supervisor in 1997. At that time he began working closely with the lead people in every department. Jim continued to gain more knowledge and worked on building a quality product from start to finish. He was later moved to shop supervisor, working with production, engineering and management to maintain production schedules and provide timely delivery of service parts. Jim accepted the position of Hoisington Plant Manager in 2001. He continued to maintain and improve efficiency in production with a focus on taking care of the employees. Jim will continue improving production and quality as he accepts his new position. He will be responsible for all aspects of production at both the Dodge City and Hoisington locations. Jim lives in rural Barton County with his wife Elysia. He enjoys working on cars and motorcycles, going racing with his sons and motorcycle rides with his wife.
